Accept rocks Geiselwind

April 14, 2012 – Eventzentrum Strohofer

Premier night in Geiselwind: for the first time I had the chance to test my new Nikon D3s in real live concert conditions.

Once again I travelled to the Event Center in Geiselwind: a great location with a great audience and a band in top shape that was willing to give it all!

Accept are really as “must see” band full of power and determination. And their great show add to the perfect setting for a successful photo shoot.

My new “baby” performed awesomely! At ISO 6400 with a combination of 200mm plus a 1.4x teleconverter the pictures are spot on sharp, great detail and just a little bit of noise. I really got more than I expected.

This eventing was also the chance to share the concert experience with my good friend and photography fellow Frank Will from Berlin. Together we had a great time in and outside the photo pit.
