BON – The AC/DC Show in Geiselwind 2011

Two backstage Rosies

After having witnessed “BON the AC/DC show” in 2010 at the preshow fanparty of AC/DC’s concert in Berlin I already knew that these guys were hot. But as their appearance at the Geiselwind Fan Meeting 2011 should proof, they were absolutely keen on tearing down the house!
Well, it must have been like this back in the early 70s when Bon, Angus, Malcom & Co. toured the clubs of Australia. Pure, raw Rock’n Roll fueled by sheer endless energy!
The audience and the band sort of merged into one “organism” driving one another to an ecstatic climax. The setlist was unbelievable! “Squealer”, “Down payment blues”, “Can I sit next to you”, “Fling thing” and even “I’m a rebel” are songs that are hardly heard at any AC/DC show. BON performed them with pure devotion and musical excellence.
Thus, as a photographer I had a really hard time. How should I cover this kind of show while rocking along to the music? Well somehow it worked out and it was big fun!!!
